February 2005

In early February, Aunt Helen and Suzanne were visiting cousin Jamie and Mickey in El Mirage Arizona, so we invited them to visit Las Vegas. Some exploring around the area took us to Valley of Fire where we explored an old movie site, and got to examine some petroglyphs close up.
Jamie and Suzanne went to the west rim of the Grand Canyon (sorry, no photos) despite the predicted rain. They didn't get any rain, and that was a good thing since they said that the road wasn't paved all of the way. And then, of course we did the tour of some of the newest additions to the casinos. Lots of walking. |

Bonie has remained active in Red Hat activities, to the point of belonging to two groups. Here, friend Doralee and Bonnie have prepared their latest hats to go to a luncheon.

As a thank you for all of the support for running the trains at Opportunity Village, we had our second annual "End of Season" train club dinner. It takes a lot of folks to make the season successful.
